Masaki--of course, now it makes sense, that mechanical engineering DOES have some similarities to medicine in terms of a structural approach---especially orthopedics. I hadn't thought of it before. I do know a couple of people who went to medical school AFTER obtaining another degree and starting another career---but in both cases, they were in medical fields (nursing and a physician's assistant). I'm sure your patients are REALLY glad you made the switch!!!
