Like a number of our LCT neighbors, we also reside in sunny South Florida; Mark and I are definitely warm-weather types! (As Mark always says, “There is just something about shorts and Christmas in the same sentence...") Although our two grown children are no longer at home, the house still bustles with our four canine kids – adopted several years ago from a great organization called “Puppies under Protection.”
Mark and I are also "Baby Boomers” eagerly anticipating that time when a 3- or 4-week trek becomes reality! While our present practical pursuits (computers and law) leave limited time for leisure . . . gourmet cooking, music, gardening, reading and studies -- and (of course) cruising
-- fill our pastime.
Our first cruise experience was aboard the Celebrity Century in 1996; we were upgraded to a suite and that set the bar for the trips to follow. Those Celebrity travels were fun, but after our first RSSC voyage – we were fans! With the hectic daily pace of our careers, we love the relaxation that RSSC affords . . . a roaming retreat with delightful cuisine, delicious wines, diverse activities, new friendships – and all without crowds and cacophony!
