Welcome Liz and Darbie! It's been quite awhile since I visited here and I am enjoying catching up. Wonderful to find out more about several "newish" posters who have become regular LCT'ers over the last few months. Don't have time to read everything I have missed today, but I will go back and catch up over the next few days.

The help you give to sick and lost animals warms my heart. I am such a softy for animals and worry and pray for the ones that are not being cared for properly. (Almost more than people, sometimes!). I figure, they can't speak for themselves and they are pretty much at the mercy of their owners. Most pet owners are great and love their animals, but when I see a dog or a horse that is not being cared for properly, it makes me sick.

Thank God there are people like you who actually DO something about it. We have 3 cats, one from a shelter, one stray and one from a neighbor. I could have 10, but I know they would take over our lives!!!
