What a great way to welcome newcomers to the group! I've been reading posts for a while on the "other" cruise board so feel like I know some of you ... but thank you as a newcomer for the bios!

On our end ... we're both in our 30s and live in Hawaii. I was born in Japan and my family moved to the US when I was 1. My citizenship is still Japanese and I live here with a "green card". My family originally lived in NJ as my father was doing his training in Newark and when he finished, we moved to Hawaii and have been here since. I went to college on the east coast and then came back to Hawaii to do medical school. Went to training in family practice in Sacramento, CA and now am back in Hawaii to practice. I got married 2 yrs ago to a classmate from medical school (who just happened to have gone to the same high school as me) and we practice together.

No kids as of yet but we do have "children" of the furry type - 3 cats. Shadow is our black domestic short hair (DSH) rescued from the SPCA, Ashley is our grey domestic medium hair (DMH) from a pet store, and Ahi is our white Himalayan from a friend who was a breeder.

Our first cruise was for our honeymoon in 2002 on Princess. Immediately fell in love with the atmosphere of cruising and have, like Lawrence, continued to look for the best possible "fit" for us. Since then, we have cruised on the RSSC Navigator and found RSSC to be a great fit for us - meeting wonderful people, smaller ships with less lines, and an upscale but relaxed atmosphere.

I hope to meet all of you on a future cruise or when you visit Hawaii!
