I go back to see the ortho on Wed to find out how the MRI turned out. So, things are moving along.

There was a woman in the waiting room that kept saying she felt so terrible after the sugery but didn't have pain. I just nodded beacuse I didn't get it. Your surgery didn't sound too terribly bad. My doctor is very firm on no driving for six weeks, which sounds like an eternity, but I guess it's not the end of the world. I had already decided to use a cadaver as it sounded less painful. There was another person in the waiting room who used his own hip bone and said he found that to be the worst of it. You're right about being adaptable. Your time in the Gulf War doesn't sound at all pleasant. I guess maybe I can handle a little old surgery! Thanks for the reminder.
