Andi a brillant idea. Ken and I have been married for 23 years (2nd for both of us - we got it right the second time) I dragged Ken on his first cruise (Carnival) now I cant keep him off the ships. We had been on 40 cruises before we began this "cruise thing" four years ago.
Ken is also a firefighter for the City of Dallas for over 30 years. We also have had a personnel consulting firm for 25 years called Brown and Keene. Hence the name for the cruise business. Everyone asks me who "Brown" is. My ex partner I bought out 7 years ago.
We LOVE cruising and travel of any kind. The more we do the more we want to do. One of the neatest parts is meeting everyone. Many of the people I have met will be friends for life.
I was born in New Zealand and immigrated by myself to the States at the tender age of 19, pretty scary really. Ken is from Dallas and we live in Dallas, Texas, have two children and two grandchildren.
My favorite Grandchild/cruise story when my grand daughter was four years old she went on the Mariner. When she got home she said Radisson Seven Seas is the best ship much better than Disney. So I asked why. She said "because of Signatures of course". Still confused I asked her to explain. "Well Grandma Ngaire they have the best macaroni and cheese in the whole world"
Ken and I say when we get too old we will jump off the front of a ship together - what a way to go - but not a Radisson ship!!!!
