We visited Tucson several years ago. My aunt and uncle had lived there. We loved this city and its diversity, which surprised us, to be honest. We are Jewish and found that there is a large and thriving Jewish community in Tucson.

I don't take to the heat very well, so the desert, while beautiful, is not a destination we seek out often, unless we go in cooler months. We love the ocean and mountains.

BTW, we do hope that all went well with the services for your father-in-law and that your mother-in-law is adjusting as well as can be expected under the circumstances.
