count and Marcie, contact information for guides would be appreciated. I am trying to plan an overland trip using the train to Lhasa and perhaps bus from Lhasa to Katmandu. Don't know if it is best to take train all the way from Beijing or fly to Xian and catch train there. I am still looking for information on the "luxury" train that is supposed to start service to Lhasa by end of 2007.
