Marc, we did Tokyo to Hong Kong on last Fall's Grand Pacific Tour, which is very similar to PANDA. Prior to the Mariner, we did this trip (our TA set it up). The Imperial Hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in the World. The Bullet Train to Kyoto was fun and the shrines and temples in Kyoto were awesome. The Westin Miyako was very nice also. If you have the chance (and $$$) to do this trip before boarding in Osaka, you will love it. Linda & Larry
