Maskai, at least one Xian excursion is already listed for PANDA in 2007 (see Shanghai excursions)--Terracotta Warriors and Li River Cruise. We signed up for it, and according to Ngaire, a number of other people have already done so. It actually works out pretty well, you only miss a morning in Shanghai because ship departs at 1:00 PM and an afternoon in Hong Kong because ship arrives at 1:00 PM (but aren't you doing a post-cruise in Hong Kong anyway). There's a sea day in between while you're on the excursion. As you probably know this excursion has to be signed up for in advance.
