Doug, I have many Vietnam vet friends and they are all across the board re: going back. When we went last year my husband (who is Vietnam "era", got lucky and sent to Germany)was on deck as we sailed into Vietnam and said there were quite a few emotional guys up there.
Guess its all about what you need.
