You didn't really see the Hanoi Hilton, because it was torn down a few years ago. All you saw was the small propaganda setup they left in place. A good friend of mine, who was a fellow POW, was there when it was being torn down and he brought home one of the bricks. Many of our group have gone back to Hanoi for "closure". I won't be one of them. As I told our interrogator the day I left, " The good news is that I'm going home; the bad news is that you have to stay here". He stopped smiling after that.
