Wow, Karen that is amazing. I know it was on DDD when John came up with the whole idea and shared it with us at pre-dinner drinks in the lounge. Time flys!

Happy Birthday LCT, I can hard believe it's been three years. I started out learning about cruises (and spending money) but it evolved into great friendships and fun. Thanks to Karen, John, Ken and Ngaire for providing a happy place to talk about cruising and everything else!

CONGRATS, LCT!!! I don't honestly know what I was doing before I discovered this site with its WEALTH of information and experience-sharing in such a friendly environment. Here's to M-A-N-Y more years!

Kristin: We were/are working, catering to our husbands/SO's, preparing dinner, painting a room, decorating, dealing with family trials and tribulations.....LCT has been wonderful outlet for fun, laughter and great new friendships Due to LCT, Tony, now cooks, the house is "done", and kids know I am not available 24/7 I am on LCT!!!!

I love it here, too! Started out meeting so many wonderful cruisers on cc, and they allowed us to get off-topic quite often, then things happened, and lct was "born"! This is my favorite place to be on-line! It really is rather addictive, however! My kids (now early 30's, late 20's) have also enjoyed meeting so many of you! They no longer think mom is "crazy" having internet friends, as they have met a lot of them!

Olivia: Meeting your adult kids was such fun for us .... so much fun I just left message on Joanna's (Olivia's Joanna) cell phone about Sambuca long story....LCT reaches far when you least expect it... tracking you down..I remember Marcie calling us in Athens hotel as we had not been able to post for 3 days.....

LCT has been wonderful for me. I feel like I have met many new friends (and actually met Karen), hope to meet many more on TAP, and especially I don't have to put up with the attitude on cc.

Hi everyone, Ken here, I just wanted to set the record straight. Mark you are right. LCT was actually born in February. When we first loaded the program I had it on a hosting server that I realized after a few days just wasn't going to cut the mustard. I found a more suitable server with more power, bandwidth, and disk space and it would suit our needs way into the future.

LCT was down for a few days in the process of moving the board to the new server. This was quite a process because it took time to get everything right in the transfer of files and data. We wanted to keep all the posts as well as all the member profiles so we would not have to start from scratch. So that's the story and I'm sticking to it.

Ngaire and I have enjoyed LCT and have met some great traveling companions in the process. We are really glad to hear that so many members are enjoying the board.
