I hate to disappoint everyone but no new shoes unless you count the sparkly flip flops I ordered yesterday :)

The best present I can think of is my sweet LCT family and how much I am glad that I have had the opportunity to spend time with most of you. I guess for my birthday wish, I hope for the chance to meet all of you some day! :hug: Next month, I will have the chance to do just that!

To celebrate the passing of another year? Every year? The good ones as well as the less than good ones, if I may be kind?

Yes, my green blooded friend. Every year we are on this planet is a blessing. It is a chance to meet new friends and, well, just be friendly.

Doctor, I should point out that we are not on any planet for any amount of time.

Damn it, man! Don't you get it? We are on a ship. We move around. We meet people. We make friends.

Frankly, Doctor, beyond sub-space communications there is very little way in the way to stay in contact with these new friends until the next time our ship and they meet. Your thoughts are not logical.

Then, set your pointy ears to sub-space, because we DO make friends and I don't want to ever lose them.

Doctor, I would suggest, then, that you find someone to monitor this growing list of your friends because I believe that your duties in sick bay do take up a great deal of your time.

My dear Mr Spock... I do believe that I have found just that person.
