we all arrived in King's Camp this afternoon. Patrick got off to a good start with his tracker, Albert, finding a prime time younger male elephant, many giraffe and one of Rockfig's granddaughters, a gorgeous leopard in a tree. Get this: she's 24 months old (not quite ready to leave her mother's care), has taken down an impala, has left it ON THE GROUND as multiple dozen of vultures have gathered. The vultures don't dare to move in as Rockfig III is one very strong young lady. Patrick says unless the lions decide to grab what's left of the impala, Rockfig III has at least a few more days' worth of food waiting for her.

Dinner was boma-style this evening. We met a few of the other King's Campers from So Cal. Weather has been glorious .. we hope to have a great few days while we are here.
