Today we toured Soweto with a very good guide. We had several opportunities to meet and talk with local people, which was very interesting. Among other things, we saw a jazz music performance by a mother and her four sons, toured a youth afterschool program, had some beers in a local shabeen (bar), and saw the Mandela house. This was our first time to stay in and around J'burg and it has exceeded our expectations in every way...Looks cold from the looks of Ken's pictures, was that 32F or 32C from the report last week
