I am not sure what day you are leaving - have a wonderful New Years cruise on the PG Kristin & Greg! Wish we were sailing with you! :bv:

if you have 1/2 as good a time as we did on the PG you'll have a fantastic time.

Awww, you guys are too much!

Sue, I wish you and Tom were with us too. Someday we will share a dream cruise, I know it! We are long overdue!

We can't wait for the warm weather and the wonderful hospitality of the staff/crew, and magic of the FPs. Hope we don't experience too much rain! :p

Kristin,
All the best to you and Greg. I have been on the PG twice over New Year's and while low key loved every minute of it. I certainly hope the weather will be kind to you. Happy New Year's.
Susan

Thanks so much, Susan! Even if there isn't much hoopla going on, we'll just be pleased to be celebrating somewhere on New Year's Eve. It will be the first New Year's we've left the house! :)

Thanks, Dena, Debbie and Sue! I admit, we have never been big Seamail contributors though - always too relaxed and not wanting to risk going online to find out what the rest of the world is doing, which might ruin our mood ;) . We prefer to stack it all up and give the details afterward.

This cruise may be different though...I am supposed to have jury duty the Monday after we return (I am supposed to check about my "status" online)...and Greg is expecting a possible job offer.

Which brings me to the dreaded question: Does the PG have an internet cafe? We are not bringing the laptop, that is for sure.

Kristin - there is a small computer room on the PG - maybe 4-5 computers. The connection usually seems to be very slow, so the good news is you can do what you need to do without being tempted to spend TOO much time online. Enjoy!

Thanks for the well wishes, Masaki! And Dena, thank you - that is what I pictured. We didn't even think of looking for the centre last time!

Now, the challenge is, trying to keep our darling pooches from finding out we're going on another trip. Even if we pack behind closed doors on the opposite side of the house, they still somehow know! I think they must know the sound of the suitcase being put on the bed or something. They start circling around and making crying noises...it always breaks my heart! :(

Kristen,

Have a blast on the PG...to help ease the
separation anxiety for both our Pets (four pups)
and us, we have a Pet Sitter that comes to our
house twice a day...she is great (in fact is hte President of the Georgia Pet Sitting Assoc) she
brings treats and really cares for our pets...something you may consider if you board your dogs...

Thanks, Wes! We actually do have a wonderful pet sitter who our kids LOVE...she is priceless to us...it's the beforehand part where they get anxious. I think maybe it's due to the fact that our actions/demeanor are "above the norm" while we're getting ready for the trip, and they can sense our excitement.

Have a wonderful trip, Kristin & Greg! Our pets are always the hard part....you're not alone there. Sounds like you've found very a dependable & caring person to take care of them.
