gee i find it rather odd that you joined the board just recently and i've already gotten spam mail from you.

First of all, please don't yell at us.

I think we would all prefer you don't send us email until you got to know us.

If you got to know us, you would learn we're all VERY happy with the travel agent we currently use, who for many of us spends hard earned money paying for this website, and it's really rude to come here and troll for new clients.

If I get emails like that, they get reported as spam. Most email servers don't really care for that canned meat.

Oh...this is the source - I got two email yesterday from this "member" - I agree - definitely rude!

Mine went automatically to spam. Can't beleive someone would go onto another Agency's website and send email to their memebers - even if it is on an open forum, its still on a specific Agency site, not like CC.

I e-mailed Karen before I got to this thread. "It" got through the spam filters at my office - three times!

Vacationhit, if you are trolling for business, you just lost all credibility. No one wants to receive your spam emails, please stop.

If anyone has received an email from this person, I suggest you put them on your blocked email list. If you are not sure how to do this, click on the email to highlight it and then choose "messages" at the top of your Outlook window and choose "block sender"

For AOL users, I was told to report the email as spam and it should be banned in the future. If there are other AOL directions, feel free to let me know!

Just got an email from this member but they addressed me as Masaki - and explained they were just sharing information --- B******T!

I reported them as SPAM!

Karen....I just looked at this member's profile - he/she lists spam@spam.com as their email address - now that's really FUNNY!

This spammer spammed me on my travelblog <img border="0" alt="[c]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[c]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" /> . I immediately reported the spammer.

Margo, this is how I did it on my Mac, your Windows AOL may be different.

Go into Mail controls, then mail and spam filters. On my list, there is a "use a custom sender list". When I checked that, I could put that idiot on the list to NEVER accept mail from them. I have also sent an email to that website that spam is not welcome here. It may make them mad and they may flood me with it, but we'll see.

I have banned them and hopefully they cannot read our profiles anymore but just incase, BLOCK them!!

As I said mine automatically went to spam intially, but I did get an email from them, so I reported it as spam and sent a tearse reply back to remove me and told them what I thought of their tactics.

Pam's directions are correct for PC and Mac for AOL users.

I use my Yahoo account as my listed email on bulletin boards. Thanks for the alert. I just checked my messages and found 3 from this spammer. I deleted them all as spam.

I guess I should consider myself lucky as this person didn't attempt to reach me ( or left out! LOL!).

Can they seriously expect to get business this way?

I did get the e-mail, but didn't know, until today, that it was a LCT-er....or a pseudo LCT-er.

I was curious about that too Sheri. Didn't see the post before Karen worked her magic.

If I remember correctly they wanted to know what our favorite cruise ship was. The title was in all caps, which is why I said please don't yell at us!

They said they work for the vacationhit site, and wanted to know what our favorite ship is. Then I got a second email, saying they weren't spamming but wanted us to know about their site.

I had some fun with this one today when I needed a break. I told this person I didn't appreciate getting spam. They wrote back that it wasn't spam, but they were letting us know about a new site. So being me, I wrote the following just now:
