Our friends who are ordinarily Crystal cruisers took the NCL cruise around Hawaii last year.I am interested to hear your comments.We sailed on NCL many years ago before we experienced RSSC or I should say Regent.

Thanks everyone! We know we'll have a good time but Regent has spoiled us so much that NCLA has a lot to live up to. We'll make sure to take lots of pictures, especially of the bathroom!

Marika's already getting ready to charm everyone in sight. We've been out to dinner the past 2 nights (Ray, we got to see Joy and Bill!) and she's been busy waving and blowing kisses to anyone who looks her way.

We are certainly not expecting a Regent experience. Part of the whole thing is expectations after all. We go with little and hope for the best. We upgraded from the suite that we had to the exact same suite but on the concierge floor, so to speak - the Courtyard has its own pool and hot tub shared amongst 10 suites (alas, Little Fish is still not welcome in the pool because of her swimmers).

Either way, it should be a nice relaxing time for all 3 of us and we expect to continue our experiments with socializing Marika ... :D

Thank you all for your good wishes - we will be posting from the ship if all goes well and will be takng lots of pictures.

Never too early to start taking your little ones on cruises. Our kids pretty much grew up on cruise ships - Laura our youngest celebrated more birthdays on cruises than she did at home for a time. Now all in their 30's they can't wait to start cruising as a family, as soon as the youngest babies get around 3. :bv: :bv:
