Last Easter Sunday, we were having dinner over looking the Indian Ocean in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. I can speak for both Arlene and myself in saying that, at that time, the last place in the world we thought that we would be on the next Easter is Tokyo, Japan. What a difference a year makes! :)

Ah, yes, Marc & Arlene - we had just arrived in Cape Town & were driving to Hermanus. Arrived just in time for dinner. What a gorgeous surprise it was for Easter! Yes, those are great memories & how wonderful that you are making more in Japan.

Lee, cherry blossoms were fantastic this year. You can see a bunch of pictures that Arlene took on our blog . The peak was last weekend so the parks and cemetary were full of partiers enjoying Hanami.

Temps dropping here too - I had to put a sweater on in backyard tonight :ohmy: :ohmy: - past week 80 and sunny - no humidity I love this time of year!!

Our temps have dropped, too. It's been looking like rain all day today and it's chilly (by SOCAL standards!). Perhaps "SOCAL Stormwatch" by tomorrow!

Posting this for Ray: Even though we have some blustery weather, we're fortunate to have all the family together today and thought you'd like to see what the Easter Bunny left outside our kitchen window: I had a Cajun meal flown in from Louisiana consisting of 20 pounds of boiled crawfish; crawfish etouffee; seafood gumbo; crawfish stuffed chicken; plus a shrimp, sausage and okera dish.
