One area of improvement I see needed pertains to the new restrictive smoking policy going into effect. On this Mariner cruise we're on, the connoisseur club is used for private functions (last night it was closed for a "Mariner Club" party). They need to stop using this room for private functions on all the ships. Another thing is STARS. It is listed as a place where you can smoke but there are no ashtrays. The only time you can get an ash tray is at night when there's a bartender there to ask for one. They need to leave ashtrays out during the day and night even when no bartender is present.
