We will know by 11.00 pm tonight. No clearance we leave to go back to the US ports. Tomorrow looked so good the area we were going was very small where the local native population was going to perform, do dog sled rides on the beach, boat racng with guests in the boats and serve food. THe costumes were NOT Russian but sealskin outfits and looked like American Indians. Hopefully that will be in store for us tomorrow. Otherwise it is a day at sea.

Conrad the expedition leader did say these communities only get about three ships a year and had been making preparations for our visit that the local officials were very disappointed. Silversea is still going to give the locals the funding that was promised for our visit and the passengers applauded that decision. It is never the "people" it is always the governments in all countries that cause the issues.
