As per usual, skating in on the 'just it time' schedule on Monday. Continental late morning for a 2 pm scheduled arrival at FLL. The good news? Anne, your complimentary upgrade is processed. Enjoy sitting in 4A. I quickly switch to 6E. Gary's upgrade is MIA. 2 days later, Gary's upgrade comes through - yep, in 4A. - move him to 6F. Looking forward to starting the party midair. We'll see you all then!

We leave at 9 am for an 11 am flight. We should get to the hotel around 3:30 or so--see you there. Oh, and we got upgrades also on good old American--yeah!

We are here at the Sheraton, our room isn't ready so we are going to the pool bar. I left my phone in the car back in Houston so ROBERT, I can't call you after we start to sail and LOU, you can't call me either!

Yea! Karen did you get the Va Tech Hokie welcome in the lobby? What a riot-Don & I drove into a sea of cheerleaders & band members plus 400 happy students! (They said 8 bus loads) This is a great atmosphere & the weather couldn't be better! Took me 30 seconds to get my shorts on & hit the beach!

We're here as well! Apparently the weather is dropping back down to the low 20s in PHL so the 80 degree weather here in FLL is much appreciated!

Definitely an odd mix at the hotel...the pool near our room is filled with college students...(Hokies I think) It's going to be a beautiful evening. And a good start for FIESTA and FUN2!

So I hit a snag doing all the paperwork today.

The acroynm for FUN from LCT was
Friends Undergoing Nonstop
Does not make much sense

I assume the idea was FUN at the end
Friends Undergoing Nonstop FUN

SO I looked back to the original Fun

That was Fascinating Unique Navigator
So I simply changed that to
Fascinating Unique Navigation

Just no time to do anything else I was so focused on FIESTA which is a GREAT name missed the FUN until it came time to print everything today. Just so you know where that FUN acroynm came from.

Ngaire...guess that's why it's FUN2 "Friends undoergoing Nonstop FUN!" I'm sure no one here minds.

Ahh too late. It just looked kind of strange FUN without another F in the name for the word FUN. No biggie it just needs to make sense when someone says what does FUN stands for you can still say Friends Undertaking Nonstop Fun I bet the acronynm police will not put you in jail.

Sitting here on Main St. in WDW waiting for the fireworks to start. A small bunch of us were going on FUN2 which was supposed to be on the Nav until we made the big switcheroo to the Mariner 2 weeks earlier bcs of the WAY better price and about 100 more people decided to come along. . We never changed the name. That's what happened, right??

Ok, Karen, we will figure something out. What time do you sail? 5? if so that's 2 my time and I'll just keep an eye out!

Greg and I had a fabulous weekend with John & Tonya!! Tomorrow we get the kids back to school and I MUST pack!! That's what happens when you live local... packing 24 hours before sail time! Greg and I look forward to meeting everyone tomorrow night at dinner! Wishing you all a wonderful Monday in Ft Lauderdale. We've had beautiful weather the past few days....so get out there and ENJOY!!

Sitting in the Admirals Club waiting for our flight. Easy trip thru security as the new scanners were apparently not working so we walked thru the old ones. Not too many people in line. Woke up at like 4am and couldn't go back to sleep, so we were on the 5:30 shuttle from the hotel.

Will look for those already there at the pool bar.

Had a great time in Sarasotawith Gil and Arlene at their new condo. Heading off for FL this morning. See you all later.

We are sitting in first class waiting to take off from ATL. Upgrade finally at last minute. See everyone in a few hours. We are ready to party.

Confirmed that Lou from Port Everglades Webcam will capture your sail away tomorrow afternoon. Not to worry if the sun goes down, Lou has a plan well in hand. I can not say what but Lou is a regular McGuyver. I'll post pics here as soon as I can.

Here in Costa Maya, Mexico, and trying to depart....trip here cancelled due to rough seas....good call on Captain's part...Dave is having a ball with all the excitment....wonderful trip...the in depth to Tikal was a 10 hour dream of a lifetime....great...climbed those 197 stairs to the top....so fun...great people...

Texas folks be glad y'all are on the cruise as it is snowing like crazy in Dallas. Enjoy the warm weather.
