Priscilla, Did you see our weather forecast for Thursday? An Arctic cold front is coming down and we will have temps in the 20's with wind chill in the teens! I sure wish we were going this January! I hope you stay warm this week :hug:

Karen, we definitely are getting a taste of winter, with more to come! Some winters I hardly ever even wear a coat, but not this year. You stay warm, too. What's predicted is even more unusual for Houston than for Dallas! :hug:

Priscilla you and John know how much we'd love to have you both on the Nav Jan 2011 cruise - I can keep hoping - :hug: :hug: it is freezing here!!

Karen, the forecasters are saying that this Thursday will be the coldest day we've seen in 10 YEARS!

We are freezing here, too - fire going in FP heat has been running all day - plants etc in garage taking all the precautions - BRRRRRRRRRRR

It is MISERABLE here in Northern VA. Coldest I can remember in a long time, especially for such a long stretch. BRRRRRRRR is right. Our fire is going too, and of course we don't have any live plants to worry about this time of year anyway. :D

I took this cruise 2 years ago. You all are going to like these ports. Very interesting. Hope you can snorkel in Belize. The winds were too strong for us to go.

Beth, do you remember your excursions and could you tell us a little about them?

Karen, As I went during the time of paid excursions, I can a tell you about 2 ports were we took Regent day trips.

Belize- We originally signed up for Absolute Belize. Due to high winds it was canceled and we took, Airboat Adventure and Belize City Tour. The city tour was not much as the town is poor. The airboat adventure was interesting as we were taken around a huge lake system and saw lots of animals.

Santo Tomas- We took the Countryside and Rio Dulce By Land trip. Really good. I loved seeing the countryside as we road to Rio Dulce. The ride around Lake Izabal was fascinating and the fort was a nice break up to walk around. Some shopping available.

Those don't sound too "dare deviley" but I did promise Mark, Ralph and Carol that I wouldn't do risky excursions anymore ;)

No, Karen, I am pretty much out of the dare devil stage of life.... Snorkeling is the riskiest excursion I'll do these days!!
