I'm working on getting my photo's up. I think I should do one album for scenic (85% uploaded as I write), and one for people on my pocket camera. I took some of those Marcie photo's at the table the last night. What fun we had with our "bonus" night~

Olivia, you've got some GREAT ones....especially the first one of Joanna and Bert. Love the ones of you with those ugly teeth (I'll let you explain the story behind that :D ). As gorgeous as the scenery was, it's the people pix that will always bring back my happiest memories. :hug:

Marcie and Tom gave us the greatest gift, their gorgeous heavy duty parkas that they got on the South America cruise! The coats are great, you can unzip the liner and wear just that and there is two other ways to wear the jackets!! The perfect coat for PA winters!! Of course, leave it to them to be so generous!

I am uploading the rock climbing videos now. There is one of Mark climbing up and one of Masaki rappelling down.
Masaki took a video of me and Amanda asked him why he was standing so close to the rock. His reason was so it would make me look like I was higher than I was, lol.

I am also uploading my Boulders resort pix from my stay in Scottsdale. The resort was spectacular and the rooms were the best we have ever seen! They were huge with a 3 section bathroom. The room itself was enormous and the view from our patio was to die for. We ended up with a stand alone Casita, our own adobe house in the middle of peace and quiet.

Thanks Sue! The picture of me on the rock was part of our patio. We really were impressed with our room. That might be why I thought the Pan Pacific in Vancouver wasn't very nice. I felt the room looked very tired, the bathroom was tiny and the lobby looked like an airport, lol. But coming from such a beautiful resort, the Pan Pacific didn't have a chance!

Your scenery photos are breathtaking!

I've so enjoyed all the photos; you all had a really great time from looking at these.

Olivia, the scenic pix are wonderful and I was delighted that you had such fabulous weather for Butchart Gardens! When I saw the first one, I exclaimed aloud "it's a fairyland!" Can't remember how many years ago we were there, 25?, but it made such an impression. So beautiful!

Your glacier photos are awesome as well! Hope you enjoyed the Tracy Arm excursion.

What fun it was looking at all your photos. You had a large group but you seemed to mix well.

Olivia: I truly appreciate your sense of humor with the teeth. Many years ago a friend had humor teeth like that and it was quite amusing to watch him work a crowd. BTW, I'm kind of colorblind but I liked you in that yellow or gold dress.

Alaska photography is tough is my opinion. It's difficult to capture the colors; however, a few of you overcame that problem. Don't know who did the Tracy Arm album but it sure got my attention.

Ray, Tracy Arm excursion is one I'd highly recommend to anyone going to Alaska, (as well as a side trip to Victoria to see Butchart Gardens). Even though it rained on and off, we got so close to the glaciers, and they are different than Hubbard....darker blues, and he backed the boat right up to that waterfall.

I hope other MUSH'ers will soon find time to post their pix!

Jan, I take the video with my camera and just upload it to Photobucket like I would do with a regular picture. You may have to have the Premium Photobucket acct. (I have one for all our LCT pix) to upload video but I am not sure?

I am newbie at this so I am adding more to my original 7 that posted - trying to be patient gathering these pixs from all Tony took- and he is non patient teacher

Joanna, you can't view them in large size when uploading them until they are all uploaded, so you are doing it right!

JoAnn, try right clicking on the pictures you want when they are opened to full viewing size on the site.

After right clicking, a window will open. Scroll down and choose "save picture as" and you can save it to your computer.

These directions are for Internet Explorer, if ar using something else, I can't help you!

I think I tried that with some of Lucy's pictures that Laura put up on her Ofoto site and they saved but in a weird way and we could never open them up - but will give it another try.

AOL confuses me, lol. It seems that lots of things are harder to do than when using the other browsers! Replying to an email with the original text comes to mind. I also notice that when people who use AOL send me photos, most times I can't open them, all I get is the dreaded X

Best way for AOL people to send photos is by making them an attachment that gets uploaded and then downloaded by the recipient that does not have AOL.

If you imbed the photo in the email to someone without AOL they can't always open it.

But hey, the fact that I can deal with a computer at all is amazing!!! Some things I can do well, others, well thats another story for another time!!

Thanks all-glad you liked the pictures. It's easy to get frame wothy shots with a group like this. Kathy, I do have some more Denali shots including a few from the Idatarod Headquarters which I will add shortly. I didn't do any post-processing on these because I just concentrated on uploading them so they could be viewed.

Thanks Mitch; am really looking forward to the Denali photos. Did you find the colors obscuring the wildlife or enhancing it? I saw "Mama" grizzly with 3 cubs in and amid greenery and tundra. Do you have Polychrome Pass pix? That, to me, was quite a landscape!

Looking at these pictures - it really was a wonderful compatible group and I had a great time. Pictures are wonderful, they allow you to relive the moments.

Mitch, they are on the LCT Ofoto site now, in the "my friends" album. Whenever you share photos with us, they automatically get put into the LCT Kodak/Ofoto site. It's how Kodak/Ofoto makes money, they figure if all your friends pictures on your Kodak site, you will buy them!

For example, if I share pictures from my own personal Kodak/Ofoto site with Joanna, they will show up in the LCT Kodak/Ofoto site as Joanna and I both use that site as well.

Which means if you are really bored on a rainy day you can view our "at home" lives :D
