My fellow TUSHees -

How's that packing coming along?

Happy to report that Alan and I are packed and ready to go. One super-size, industrial-strength Hefty bag for us. I think we've met the weight requirements!

No toothpaste, deodorant, or shampoo for us. After all, we're on TUSH and won't be needing any of that stuff!

Denise - Like you I am totally packed, except for a few last minute items. I was lucky. Having just returned home from Colorado & discovering the TUSH cruise was so soon, solution seem to be - not unpack. So........... I'm ready to TUSH away! :)

Gary and I splurged. We got the matching brown-paper bags WITH the handles that we saved up from the grocery store. He's re-packing to make sure we've got some of our stuff in each bag, in case one gets lost on our non-flight.

Cheers, Anne

Too funny, JoAnn! Yes, wrong cruise for sure! ;)

This is the low-on-maintenance, no hair cuts, no manicures or pedicures, no showering, no shaving, no teeth brushing - cruisers who are beyond very ripe - TUSH!

No fuss, no muss, no dress-to-impress! Get down, get funky, get dirty, get real, and get plastered!

Ain't we got fun????

Sounds like almost everyone is packed and ready to roll! I didn't even bother to wash our clothes - just grabbed some out of the hamper and tossed 'em in an old burlap sack.

I figure we'll be in and out of the water and they'll get washed that way.

Sue, mine aren't washed either & they've been sitting in that suitcase 10 days. We'll definitely be splashing together, although one sip of Kathy's white lightnin', will we even care?

I've packed our clothes in a super-sized Texas bandana which we'll tie to a fishing pole to carry. We're also bringing along some Lone Star beer and some calf frys and hush puppies in case we get thirsty or hungry on the non-trip.

I've decided to layer anything I need on me. Bandana to keep the hair back when it starts to look too greasy, tank top, short sleeved shirt, long hippie dippy jumper over that, with my ratty hoody sweatshirt on top, and very old frye boots (the rounded toe kind) on the feet.

Don't think i'm missing anything.

I guess I'm ready to go and it was so easy to pack for this trip. I just threw together a few items into ziplock bags and put them all in a giant hefty bag!

See everyone onboard!!!!

I believe in packing light -- just my negligee-whiz in a plastic grocery bag, which will double-duty as shower cap.

Speakin' of packin' light. We even packed ourselves a bunch of these, so that we didn't have to worry about laundry.

I'm thinking of changing my Glad Force Flex carryall for a wheel barrow...it has wheels.
Such wonderous idea's here! Plastic grocery bag for shower cap...how clever is that?

Well, Gang, I'm a little late with my packing. Had to wait for Larry's new tux to arrive today. We will just, as always, throw it all on the bed and tie the four corners of the sheet together. Voila!
cheer

Suzie - Gary breathed a sigh of relief. He says you sure learned your stuff after riding the range on ROAR. LOL!!

Good news .. the musicians are signed up and ready to do double duty! I thought I'd give you a sneak preview of our opening act for the pool buffet. Cheers, Anne

Anne, it's a small world. She was the entire percussion section at our High School where I was the Drum Major! Now you should have seen our Brass Guy! Trumpet in one ear, french horn in the other, trombone on his lips. Well, I won't go any further, you probably could already guess where the tuba was! :D

Thanks for lining up our entertainment, Anne!

Don,

Any chance you're still in contact with the brass guy? We could use his talents on TUSH, considering his musical prowess on the tuba!

Sorry Denise. He was involved in a very bad accident. One day recently while playing the tuba at a bar in Hollywood, it fell out and landed on a patrons foot. Now, he is all tied up in Tuba Litigation! Defending himself has just about wiped out all of his assets. In fact he doesn't even have a telephone. Last time we talked he had to use Suzie's Phone!

OK, now you can say. Don, yooooo baaaaad! ;)

We're having a GREAT time, aren't we? I think we may need to extend TUSH!

Waiting and wondering - Don - what IS she bobbing for? Suzie, we may be sorry we asked; however, hysterical over the answer!

I think they were ham hocks! Look at the one laying on the ground to the left. I also think it was a boy, by looking at the shoes.

Bobbing for ham hocks? Alan and I will have to pass on that. Now, if we could bob for matzoballs, we're on! Real challenge to bob for matzoballs. They're light and fluffy and when you bite into one, it falls apart easily. Try bobbing for matzoball fragments!

So, two bobbing tanks - ham hocks and matzoballs.
