We have been pretty lucky in this catagory when you think about all that can go wrong.

This particular experience happened to our friends who were renting mopeds with us in Moorea. I am not sure exactly how it happened, but when the other couple got on their moped, they started it up and it lurched forward at a high speed. They drove it up the side of a tour bus that was parked nearby. That night at dinner, he showed us his legs, they were skinned from ankle to knee. It wasn't funny at the time but we were all laughing so hard at dinner, we couldn't breathe.
