I haven't had much in the way of a bad port experience other than Barbados. We were on a Xmas cruise and had taken our two youngest kids for their first cruise experience. They were 14 and 15 at the time. Unfortunatley Barbados was our 2nd port stop and when we got off the ship and walked into town we were mobbed by rogue tour guides that were waiting for the ship's passengers. They hastled and followed us for blocks and my daughter was so terrified by the experience that she stayed on the ship for the rest of the ports. To this day she still talks about that cruise and how she has no interest in cruising.
