I wondered why we stopped in Raiatea on Sunday and Taha'a on Monday and not the other way around. Unless Taha'a is booked by someone else on Sundays. (Windstar? Princess?)
My worst off-ship was in Antigua - I went shopping right off the pier, then wandered from the ship on my own and promptly got lost. Turned a corner and found a pack of dogs chowing down on a bloated, dead goat :eek: . Local's cars would drive by, slow down and stare at me (with my brand new Rolex watch gleaming). Finally flagged down a taxi, who said "What you doin' in THIS neighborhood, Mon? You'd be easy pickins'!" Then sweated for 15 minutes while he drove me back to the pier. Vowed never to get off the ship again there :ohmy:
