Well, knowing you as well as I do aboard a ship, you will know everyone on board by then and their personal stories. I am so looking forward to that cruise with you and your Frank (well, and of course, my Frank too!). The late comers will have to have a briefing party upon boarding to get up to snuff!

I will be on the trans-Atlantic part of CROSS. I will be traveling alone since my husband has no desire to cross the Atlantic. He says after this year, he wants a break from crusing. I have cruised without him before with but with a friend or relative. This time I decided I would go by myself. Fell in love with the Voyager after our family Thanksgiving cruise last November. This will be my 16th cruise, but only the second on Voyager. Have also cruised on the Navigator and Diamond. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Thanks for your responses. I am so looking forward to this cruise and meeting all of you. Some of you I have conversed with on CC before the birth of Ngaire's Luxury Cruise Talk. That was a while back! I am bringing all my "stuff" to make my Christmas cards while on the cruise. That will keep me busy during the day!

Hi everyone, add 2 more to the MC - FLL crossing. We're Howard & Derek and looking forward to another Trans-atlantic crossing. Personally we love them. Ah, all those lovely sea days. We sailed on the Navigator in November last year and loved it. This will be our first time on the Voyager, and she looks absolutle stunning. I can't give you a cabin number as we are on a H GTY. Since all the cabins were the same basically we didn't care at the time we booked and since I have seen the ships deck plans it doesn't look like we'll do too bad.

We were going to fly over and do a little bit of Italy first, but we got a teriffic offer from Seabourn, we decided to sail over to meet the cruise. That is a 12 day 1 port trip to Lisbon and we'll take a flight there to Nice. They have a non-stop in the morning and it works well for us.

Here's to a womderful crossing and a wonderful time for all the LCTs on board.

Karen, we are just doing the crossing as well. First time for us. I think the most sea days that we have ever had together has been 3, so this will be a new experience for us.

Diana and I plan on spending a few days pre-cruise in Paris before we head to Madeira. The problem is finding a decent flight to Funchal that isn't outrageous. Any ideas?

We've never done a crossing and the most sea days in a row we've had were two. Eight sounds like a slice of heaven to me. A daily massage, a blackjack or slot tournement or just some games to be played, a bunch of lectures, wine tasting, a few good books and lots of laughs!

We did a crossing on the QEII several years back, with another couple, and even though Joanne and I had to go to seminar classes each morning, it was an interesting experience, but only 5 nights across from NY to Southampton.

Sure does! Can we go now? Ahhhh! Relaxing days at sea! Sure beats all the unpacking, painting, changing of fixtures, etc. that we have had to do since moving in!

We should have quite a group. Do y'all like trivia? I think we could have a great LCT trivia team. Diana is pretty good at it. I'm just along for the ride, though I can come up with an answer here and there.

Don - I'm sure we can come up with a couple trivia teams. Frank is very good, and I'm like you "along for the ride" but can actually come up with and answer now and then.

Count me in for trivia!! It looks like we're going to be able to do the transatlantic portion of this cruise after all. We're signed up for the whole "grand crossing" but thought we were only going to be able to do the Monte Carlo to Funchal portion--now it looks like we can do the whole thing. I'm really glad because I was looking forward to the eight days at sea. Trivia is one of my favorite parts of a cruise. Don't know that I'm all that good at it, but I sure do like it.

John and I now are part of CROSS -- the entire 16-day B2B. Our first crossing. We're not sure whether it will be the most relaxing time ever, or whether we (probably more John than me) will be ready to jump off the ship. But it's a new experience, and we're eager to try it. Plus the ports on Part 1 are really great.

Can't wait! Oooohhhhh, it's a really long time away, isn't it?

Nope, just had to flip open my cell phone and do a little decifering! I used to use one of those Kathy, but I have my own worksheet that I developed, that includes tax and insurance factors. I set it up to do side by side comparisons as well. Just a simple little Excel program. You'd be proud of me! LOL
