I may have missed the answer to this somewhere. When do the Regent 2008 schedules come out?

I think Ngaire told someone around the middle of April.

The 2007 Voyager, Navigator, and Mariner schedules were released mid-February 2006, but the PG schedule was delayed for a month or so.

Sounds like an opportunity for a contest/lottery to determine the release date.

Oops, I didn't mean to confuse people! The reason I asked is the B & K website says check back in late January so I thought they must have come out or be out any day.
I thought only Seabourn brings out their schedules later. SS's schedules have been out for a while. Seabourn's probably won't be out until April.

I have my calendar marked for next Saturday, 2/17, as that's when the 2007 schedule was released (except for the PG of course).

Bummer, I was hoping it was released as well. Of course I'm looking at the PG for the Spring, so I guess I will have even longer. Double Bummer!

I agree, since I'm not cruising this summer, I'm dying to start planning next summer!! I want to start my Oceania/Regent comparison shopping!! Oh, and I think I'll include Silversea for good measure.

I read that the PG contract with Regent is up at the end of 2007. Is there news that continuation contract has been signed? After Saga Holidays purchased the PG, I thought it was just a matter of time until they took the management away from Regent. Hope it's not true!

Hmm, I must have missed that one. Is Saga related to Grand Circle Travel? I thought they were the owners.

Jim, I bet Ngaire would love to see a thread started where people put forth a "wish list" for group cruises before she decides what they will do!

Travelcat, where are you getting your information? I was under the impression that Regent is managing PG at least through 2008.

The last time I saw any mention of the PG and the future was in this
MSNBC cruising article
Quote
Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which operates Paul Gauguin, will offer cruises through December 2008 -- after that point the ship, which has been acquired by Grand Circle Travel, may sail other itineraries.

We've been afraid of the PG leaving the FP. We booked it a second time to ensure we "get in on it" before something like that would happen. It's such a special ship in such an exotic area, for surprisingly reasonable fares (especially now that Regent has gone truly all-inclusive). You just have to "jump" on these things while you still can...

Well, in 2004 we booked Pip for June 2005, when the rumours were flying about the demise of the PG, because we wanted to be on her "one last time". Of course, long before we actually went, the statements about Regent managing her until 2008 had been made. I too want to do the PG again, if possible, but I'm going to wait and see what kind of announcements are made later this year.

Oops -- I meant that the PG was owned by Grand Circle Travel (GCT) -- not Saga (a former competitor). I checked Press Releases from both GCT and "Radisson" for the last couple of years. My information was from a "Radisson" Press Release from September 14, 2005. Things have changed since then (extending the contract). Although I could not find anything from either company extending it through 2008, I sure hope it's true!

YEs, I dan assure you that at this time unless something unforseen happens Regent will manage the PG through 2008.

As to when the schedules will come out for 2008 your guess is as good as mine. Sooner the better!!
