Got mine today also. Interesting there were two people on the FED-EX truck. First time I have ever seen two on a delivery truck.

I noticed on the docs that boarding time is 2:00pm. Does Regent strictly enforce that time (especially since the inspection will be going on prior to our cruise), or will it most likely be possible to board a bit earlier (say, 1:00)? I just need to make late check out arrangements with the hotel if we have to wait until 2:00.

Also, are the hair dryers in the suites good ones? I haven't had great luck with most in hotels and on cruises but am hoping Regent is different.

And finally, are there irons in the self-service launderettes? I know we can't bring travel irons, but I will probably need to press out travel wrinkles.

Thanks a bunch for any info!

Tami: We have always had luck boarding about 12:30 not sure how inspection will impact the time maybe someone else will know? - I have very thick hair dryer works fine for me but know some bring their own - yes there are irons in laundry rooms.

I recommend a good quality travel steamer.
We had a cheap one which worked so so then bought a better quality one. Really works well
and so far have not needed an iron. :D

Thanks Joanna and Jim. I guess if we get there at 12:30 or 1:00 and we can't get onboard, we'll just hang around and meet all you nice folks! I have a travel steamer...I just assumed Regent wouldn't allow it if they didn't allow the iron. I'll pack it and see what happens!

Our docs were at the front door too, when we got back today. The bag they came in is great for shoes, but what to do with about 20 document wallets. Maybe I'll bring them with me to Fiesta (without bags) so they can hold down costs - reuse them!

I'd be happy if they'd go back to the simple canvas zip bag they used for Radisson Diamond documents. We still have ours, well used for all those small things you just might need on a cruise - scotch tape, a tiny stapler, scissors, a tape measure, that kind of stuff. We bring it on longer cruises.

But not duct tape! We always bring duct tape - it's all too often a lifesaver.

Just five weeks now!

PS to Tami: if you're going to FIESTA on Jan 3rd, I believe there is a special luncheon on the 4th for Fiesta-goers, so that will be before 2PM. Check with Ngaire (presuming you booked FUN2 through Brown & Keene - if not, please ignore this) but you can usually board after noon. That day the CDC is doing an annual inspection, so it may be a bit later.

[size=8]Too Many To List - 416 days & counting on Radisson/Regent, and 150+ days on 8 other lines, with one cruise booked next month on the Mariner, Miami to Honolulu 22 days

Count, unfortunately we didn't book through B&K. We just booked a couple of months ago directly with Regent and didn't know about Ngaire and her team until I found this website. We will, however, be booking any future cruises with her! Our flight doesn't land until 12:40am on the 4th, so I have a feeling it won't be a problem for us to just sleep in and plan on getting to the pier after 12:30.

Joanna, we'll be sure to look for you. If you see a 5'4" brunette with highlights running around like the Tasmanian Devil, and a poor, gray haired short fellow following her around, with a look on his face that says, "What have I gotten myself into this time," you've found us!!

Victor, you and Rosanne had no shortage of bar time on WC and SoAm trips (nor did we cheer ). You're bringing back fun memories...maybe you can invite us to go out with your private guide, I'll find a malnurished dog and we can go buy her dog food again. :D

You will love meeting the LCT'ers, lots of super people on FUN2.
