Terry Breen just sent out her e-newsletter and she has resigned from RSSC after all these years. She is moving to Seattle to work on land at Holland America in charge of their on board enrichment program! I know she lurks and posts here now and then. She really added so much to the cruises that I've done with her...she will be missed onboard, most certainly!

I didn't get the chance to meet her on MUSH, now I may never get the chance. I wish her well with Holland America!

Wishing you well Terry! It won't seem the same without you. This is a HUGE loss for RSSC.

Good Luck Terry - we so enjoyed you on our first cruise with RSSC in 2003 the Panama Canal. You will be greatly missed. Agree with Marcie, RSSC's loss.

Terry, Best wishes for your continued success at HAL. You were a highlight of our Amazon trip last January. Your casual style of talking filled with details with NO NOTES made it easy to digest all the information your were giving us.

Terry, you were the enrichment lecturer on our Mariner cruise to Alaska in June 2001. Your shared knowledge helped make our Alaskan experience completely wonderful.

Terry you made our Alaska cruise last June a memorable one - we loved listening to your lectures. We wish you all the best in your new job!

This has been a long time coming and is the result of a company not fully appreciating the treasures they have. What a great loss for those of us who knew Terry intimately.

Do you know this for a fact? My guess is like most of us, she's looking for a new challenge and was offered one by a larger co. that could use her knowledge to improve. I don't think it's a reflection on Regent at all, as people move from job to job all the time.

Yes, I really do as she talked to Stan and me about it several years ago. She felt that Radisson (at that time) did not value her.

Terry, hope you are stopping by board once in a while, and know how much you were appreciated. We enjoyed your lectures on our Alaskan cruise last June, and I also enjoyed your book as well.

Then I'm really sorry to hear it and I wish I could have had the opportunity to hear her speak.

Terry is outstanding in her vitality, knowledge and enthusiasm. As others have said, she never used notes of any kind. I have heard some of her lectures three or more times and each time was just as exciting as the first. I loved her "A Funny Thing Happened to Me on the Way to Machu Picchu."

Oh that was great especially with her humor!

Terry's leaving probably comes as no surprise ....but such a huge loss! Maybe in the future RSSC can lure her back, I sure hope so.

While I wish Terry the best at HAL - she may find that the grass really isn't greener there.

I know that HAl doesn't value its loyal customers very much so I'd be surprised if they treat their exceptional emplyees any better.

Terry is a great asset to any cruise line, I'm so sorry that Regent didn't realize that. But then sometimes, we just need a change.

Terry, Goodbye and good luck! We will miss you. :(

Good Luck, Terry in all your future moves. We have never enjoyed any lecturer more than you, espcially on our So. America voyages. And being able to talk to you whenever we saw you was special, too.

We've just returned from FLL to Vancouver: Panama Canal and so.east Alaska on the Mariner. I wrote on all the comment cards that we missed Terry Breen. They left her Alaska guide in our suite and we read every word. We didn't know she had left Regent. We wish her all the best of everything. There are and will be other lecturers but no one will ever bring it to life as she did.

Terry, I enjoyed your commentary in 2004 on our Mariner, South American cruise, Lima to Buenos Aries. I will never forget your enthusiasm as we sailed into Puerto Mont with the dolphins playing near the bow of the ship and the sun shining on snow-covered volcanoes.

Change happens and I hope this one will take you to many successes. I will miss your expert commentary. Good luck. Regent's loss is HAL's gain.

Terry, you will be missed!!! You are a true storyteller....Regent's HUGE LOSS will be Holland America's BIG GAIN!! I wish you many successes in your new and future adventure , they are well deserved.
