With all this talk about 4 different Tier Levels, I thought it would be fun to do a poll.

As of January 1, 2006....How many total nights will you have cruised on a Radisson ship?

Oh, I read the poll wrong. I only voted for the ones I've already accumulated. If we're counting till the end of 2005, I need to add 14 more days on to my 40 days.

If you wait to Jan 2007, I should be at almost 100 days. Got a great travel year ahead for me. I know that's the same for you, too, Marcie. You'll love the SA cruise.

I'll have 74 by the end of 2006. I got a letter today that already said that the discount would be on select sailings only and that Early Boarding, Category Upgrades, Spa and Specialty Restaurant Priority bookings and special shore excursions would be offered. And a few other things that I can't recall. Nothing in the letter we hadn't already discussed.

Why is it that I'm getting close to 100 nights as a single (86 as of today) and I still get no mailings from RSSC? I have not received a brochure or an issue of "Latitudes" (was that the name of the quarterly mag?) for almost 2 years.

I would have hit 100 this year but cancelled PARTY in favor of a Silversea cruise this Oct.

Marcie - I'm counting PARTY since we're boarding in 2005. Creative accounting strikes again!

Suzanne - we just got our mailing yesterday. Perhaps they save the best for last?? Naaa .. they're in desperate need of a database specialist.

Cheers, Anne

Not enough!! I'm sure we will be the bottom level tier - oh well someday we will catch up. However, I don't think we will ever catch up to Ngaire and Marcie!!

I counted our upcoming Europe this month - but didn't add MUSH, since its a year away.

We have another cruise planned for Feb, but its on Oceania, not RSSC.

:D

Suzanne, I'm with you. We have 206 days on Radisson and don't get a single piece of paper from them. Yesterday, my neighbor who has far less days on Rad. received an invitation "from the desk of Mark Conroy" for the "Ultimate South Pacific Cruise" of 21 days from only $5195. If you don't think I'm burning, you're crazy. I'm going to call their office this morning and see what gives, not that it will get me anywhere because I've done this before and have been promised I'd get mailings "right away" --yeah--and never get a thing!! So I'm a little peeved. Has anyone else receivedc Mark's President's Cruise invitation???? <img border="0" alt="[bang]" title="" src="graemlins/banghead.gif" />

Jean:

It is on the website. No special pricing, the $5195 is regular price available to everyone.

I haven't received an issue of Inspirations since last year either. I do receive post cards about once a month from Radisson announcing discounted sailings to here or there.

I think the reason I don't get more mailings from Radisson is because my mailbox is stuffed full (almost daily!!) with brochures from Vantage travel which I have never requested!!

No Claudia, I certainly don't have the most days! I counted 148 by 1/1/06. Others are way ahead of me! (62 days on SA trip is AFTER January 1 so I can't count that)

Who has more than 200 days? Jean and who else?

I haven't cruised any days yet with RSSC! Oct 15 PG will be my first cruise with them. But I did get Mark Conroys "invitation" to the Ultimate South Pacific Cruise. Go figure...

The invitation thing is what we booked today. But, as Marc said it is on the website, although i'm telling you the way it is on the web is so confusing...... it is 3 nights at the Shangri La in Sydney in addition to 18 nights on the PG. Air included, we booked a cat C. Julie is handling everything for Ngaire....... nice gal. We are really excited about this one!!

"Inspirations"...

Yeah that's right Karen, it's been so long since I got a copy I confused the name with the alternate restaurant!

As I recall, my last copy was hyping the final sailing of the Song of Flower. Unfortunately the issue was mailed over a month after that sailing.

Jean, I'm really surprised that you get no communications from Radisson. With over 200 days you should be getting a lot more than mass mailings. Tom.

Suzanne,
Have you checked Suzette's mail? Perhaps RSSC is courting her instead :D

We got that Mark Conroy invitation as well. Also the letter from the SS Society just this last week, so guess they are just working their way down the list????

But - I did call the SS desk to ask about Inspirations Magazine, which I hadn't received in a very long time either, and they told me that one has not been sent out for several months now, but they will start sending them again when all the new tier things and such go into effect. I think she said it would start coming quarterly when all that happened.

Like Babs, we have not yet cruised with RSSC but are booked on PG in December. We also received Mark Conroy's letter about the repositioning cruise, which I think is the first mail we've received from RSSC. Funny...
