Sorry Shoppers. On my favorite conversion site, OandA , I found that the Canadian $ is 1:1.03 to US. Doesn't look like there are any deals in Canada now, but we never know what will happen in 6 to 7 months. oops, Looks like I didn't read all of Eugene's post.....

I wouldn't count on the C$ going down too far anytime soon, guys. I'd plan my shopping accordingly. As long as oil keeps going up, this will be the case, unless our politicians screw something up badly. Great for Canadian travellers like us (especially since we're now officially snowbirds), but not great for the tourist industry and our export balance. But, for now, it's the new normal I think.
Is anybody coming in early to spend time in Montreal or environs?

I booked my second night at Intercontinental had to wait for some points to post ...booked Oct 11 for 30 thou pts had to spend 40 thou for Oct 12 a big BAD surprise - she said they had a special when I booked the first night :mad: :mad:

Oh shoot, I need to get more miles then. I thought it was 30K per night! So much for THAT credit card! No way I am going to spend 10K on the card for extra points rather than my airline card!

We have too Joanna, but since I now have two clients/couples with us, we are commited, we've pretty much done it too, but like you said, traveling with special friends ten plus $$$$$$ and you and Tony are two of those special friends, so just hang int here girl..... could be our last Regent for a year or two, and FUN2 just wasn't enough time to spend much together, just too much going on and too little time.

Cat H through Cat C had been "closed." Now, they have been changed to "wait list." Of course, the prices are $2500+ more than when we booked last year. ;)

Just a clarification! I had followed LCT for many years but had not participated in online discussions.
We booked this cruise in March 2010. I just was giving our names as B&K may not have provided you with a complete list when prepared the original roll-call!

Ravi, B&K never provides the names for the roll call; we just provide our own names. Last I heard there are over 100 B&K clients onboard; obviously the roll call is a lot shorter. Looking forward to meeting you onboard.

Right here in Ponte Vedra, Jean - they live in Singapore but both love PVB, he grew up here, so Ponte Vedra wedding and reception and reh dinner etc - October I hope will be beautiful!!! Bride to be from NC but wants wedding here - fine with me - Ponte Vedra Inn/Lodge
