Thanks Kathy.

I made a reservation at a table for six at 7:30p in Signatures on the last night of the cruise, September 5th. Anyone who doesn't already have a group together is welcome to join us (the Giusto party.)

Since I also was able to make a reservation at Latitude, I did the same thing for September 2nd at 7:15p.

Tom.

Joanna - I just pulled up "my cruises" this morning and the online dinner reservation link was there.

I got Signatures first night, and Latitudes last night, even got a confirmation to print out. Looks like they haven't yet started reservations in LaVeranda, at least on Mariner.

JoAnna -

Go to my cruises and there is a separate link on the same page where you would book shore excursions. There is even a little red new next to it.

You did add MUSH to my BOOKED cruises and not just to my wish list?

Kathy, she has MUSH entered in "my cruises" but the link just wasn't showing up. She sent me a picture of what she was seeing, all the other links were there with the exception of the dinner reservation link.

Regent home office must be going crazy trying to figure out why the last night at Signatures filled up before any other day. I am sure that that is not a frequent occurence.

So, when do our Gold/Platinum benefits kick in regarding restaurant reservations? If pre-booking is allowed up to some level, is remainder allocated to Gold/Platinum if we want (with some allotted time) and then opened to all on board?

It sounds like most of us have reservations at Signatures either the first or the last night.

Help, I can't get to restaurant reservations. Whenever I click on the link I get an error message telling me to go to rssc.com/mycruises which I've done over and over. Does that mean I'm too late to make a reservation in Signatures? Or any other restaurant?? The link is there, no problem, just that when you click on it you get the above advice. We would like to join a group on that last night in Signatures if anyone is willing to have us since I can't seem to get anywh :( confused ere online.

hhhmmmm!! wonder if we LCT'ers overwhelmed the system?

Did you get your reservations finally Joanna?

Obviously MUSH'ers took up all the available last night reservations. :chicken: Party time in Signatures - we are first night though, so will just have to catch up with everyone in Stars later.

Signatures has completely disappeared, as well as Latitudes on the last night. People must have grabbed whatever night they could get!

OK - we made Signatures reservations for the first night at 8PM since the B&K cocktail should be over around 7:30. I appears that once you make a reservation for one of the specialty places, that place "disappears" from view as does the other place on the night that you made reservations for the "first" place for.

Yep that was my experience too, as soon as I made Signatures reservation, then the rest of the nights only showed Latitudes - it says somewhere when you first click on the link that you can only make one specialty reservation per booking per restaurant - so as above, the only thing I could do after that was Latitudes, which I did for the last night. And, I think that once a certain capacity of pre booking for each restaurant on a given night is reached then it closes out, so that they still have some available for gold/platinum, and onboard bookings.

Peter, obviously, with your travel acumen you are probably right. So to put it to a test, I have asked a person who does not have a reservation at any restaurant to see if they have all disappeared for her as well!

How'd you get so smart?

Peter and JoAnn, you are absolutely right! My SIL just booked for Signatures on the first night, as she had not earlier tried for a reservation in that restaurant! So there are still spaces available, I am assuming, for those who have not already booked a specialty restaurant.

I have not booked either restaurant. I still see availability for Latitudes all nights and Signatures all except the last night. By the way, La Verandah, although there were some reports to contrary, still is not on list for reservations. I wonder if La Verandah is just reservation only for formal nights so that they can ensure enough waitstaff. I think they did that on a past cruise of ours.

If you've reserved, you can go back and cancel or modfy your reservation. You cannot make additional reservations.

When we did this on the Voyager, the other guests in your party could not make additional reservations either. You can book them, but, they cross check names.

First night is always a slow night for me - flying in from here to wherever - unpacking, etc etc even if we do a pre which we are doing - - and one night in Sigs is fine for me on 7 night cruise - I like LV very much but I love CR!!!

Who is at Signatures when? I know once on board this could all be changing.

We chose to book a table for 8 @ 7:00 on the last night feeling that this was the "safest" night for no one recovering from jet lag or interfering with a Ngaire function. We didn't book Latitudes.

We are in Signatures at a table of 6 (the two couples traveling with us) at 7:30 first night.

Latitudes last night.

Sounds like we will miss the "big party",the last night, but we'll just catch up with you'all after dinner and continue the fun. cheer cheer
