Just booked ROAR 2. Aren't sure what we are getting into but it looks fabulous. Put the deposit down but need to sort out a few things. Like getting time off work, getting a good deal on air and shaping up physically. This happened so fast after talkiing to Ngaire and Ken on PUBS and seeing their pictures. Looks like the trip of a lifetime. Judy & John

Congratulations Judy & John! We ended up cancelling since we'll be in South Africa in November '08 on a pre-cruise safariand Birkenhead before boarding the Navigator for 27 nights.
It broke our hearts to cancel ROAR2 but so happy you and John got our spot. You ARE in for the trip of a lifetime!!!

Yes, Marcie, we did get your spot. But, I wish you and Tom were coming with us. John is so excited about this trip. I really can't imagine it until I get there. We will have to fly to Johansburg and get a regional flight to Cape Town since Delta doesn't go there. Anyone else done this before and can make recommendations? Maybe we should fly in a day early and spend one night in Johansburg. I heard this is a very long flight from Atlanta. I have been looking at the pictures from previous posts. Looks really elegant. Thanks for the Welcome Everyone!!!!!1

Congratulations on choosing a great trip, Judy and John. You might be in our spot as well.
Time to fess up. Alan and I have switched from ROAR II to GAME. It was a hard decision but the sea days at the end sold us. We will miss the chance to meet Judy and John and catch up with all the other great LCT'ers. I'll be emerald green with envy while reading your posts.

Marcie, I think it's Navigator Cape Town to FLL, at least that's the one we're on. GAME sounded like it applied - I maybe goofed :eek: . Haven't had much time to keep up with LCT (too many trips, too many articles due) so I guessed!

Judy and John - so glad to hear you'll be ROARing with us. Welcome!
Marcie and Donna - we will miss you very much but can't wait to hear all about the inaugural Discovery Cruise on Navigator. Enjoy yourselves! Hopefully, the Discovery Cruise is a hit and Regent runs it again in a few years. I'd love to take a few of the legs on that trip, too!
