Congratulations to the MAYAN winners! Once you're a preliminary winner, joining LCT (if you're not already) is a requirement....right?

Preliminary winner from PALM - June 7 Paul Gauguin

What a nice welcome to a new couple to Regent Dan and Jane Fischer of Toronto who are celebrating their 35th anniversary!

Ngaire, can you insert our B2B pin under the list of preliminary winners? I now have so many nice wall magnets for the ship! The last morning when I was packing last minute stuff, one of those little round magnets I could not get off the wall! Tough little buggers!

Olivia, I don't think I have the B2B pin picture yet, as soon as Ngaire sends it to me, I will post it for you.

They were tough/tight little devils - I am thinking they'll pull the finish off of my fridge -

Sorry about how tough they were but I had to order new POOCH pins because the magnets were smaller and not strong enough. I guess moderation in magnets is something is that is beyond the manufacturers abilities!!

They work and that's what counts - nothing falling off my fridge held by a B2B magnet

Oh, I'm not complaining, Ngaire, I love them! Just that I wished I could have gotten the last one off the wall! My fridge has a wood front, so don't think I can use them there anyway. But I LOVE them in the cabins. The employees on the ships love them, too! Sort of a "badge" of recognition!

Olivia, not to worry with your wood front refrigerator. Your front door and door into garage are likely steel. You can put your cruising magnets on one of them and every time you walk out you can pretend that you are going on another cruise.

I am looking forward to receiving the new "red" pin in the mail. I just hope it doesn't arrive the same day as a credit card or a music CD. :D

My pooch pin magnet is in the washing machine or down the drain. You would think that even a weak magnet would stick to the sides of a washing machine.

Can you make a Pooch magnet with 'forever trying' (as my Dad used to say "very trying") or 'learner' on it? Lee

I am not sure but I would guess because CAVIAR in July was the last escorted cruise?

My error. Ngaire seems to be gone a lot and I assumed that all were escorted trips.

Yes, Ardis, Ngaire does seem to be gone alot. Only her Regent group cruises qualify for the chance for a free cruise. A lot of her being away is to do stuff aside from Regent, like taking us to Africa on ROAR in September, an unbelievable schedule with a gazillion of her clients being there, then she's going to Europe before next group cruise on the Navigator to check out another River Cruise company, and then on to Cape Town to meet her clients for a mix between land and sea packages! (GAME & SAMBA). We are lucky she is "gone a lot" looking out for her clients! I hope on my next cruise I get my name drawn for the free cruise she offers for 2009!

Not been on a ship since July Ardis, and definitely in Regent cruise withdrawal. Looking forward to boarding the Navigator in Cape Town. This is of course after seeing the wild dogs!

We will be drawing the winner of the 2009 cruise on this upcoming trip.

It just doesn't seem possible it has been so long, Ngaire. Time goes by so quickly for me. The Navigator trip is one Stan and I were booked on but had to cancel due to circumstances here at home. Talk about Regent withdrawal!

I guess we are going to have to wait for dinner to be over before we learn the winner. :(

Unless the winner has already been notified and would like to let the rest of us know. :D

Going to do this later on during the cruise. Once we get to sea I will figure out a time and place we can do it privately. Promise to post as soon as we know the winner.

Well we have a new winner for 2009. I have sent an email to contact the people who won and wont post their names until I have had confirmation that they know.

This is a very active and nice LCT couple so I am delighted with the outcome of the drawing.

Stay tuned maybe they will post when they receive my email.
