Hi All,

We have made it to Vancouver and are all now on the Mariner cruising away. Lucky for us we got onboard early and had a great time meeting up with old and new friends. Dinner tonight at Prime 7 was loads of fun with fabulous food. Just too tired to write more. Will post more tomorrow with pictures.

I heard from a friend on the Mariner: 657 passengers and 19 full trip cruisers.

Taking bets as to who will wake up first today and be the first to post. I say Beth or Crystal. Definitely not Betty!

Hello from the Mariner! Alice and I are up! We are cruising on a beautiful morning. There are some clouds, with blue sky. Alice is on the balcony trying to spot bears on shore.

Prime 7 onion rings were a treat! Light batter like tempura. Cut my finger on a crab or lobster shell, but it just stings a bit.

We have photos from dinner that I'll try to post soon.

Hi from the SUNNY inside passage! It is a beautiful day today, I am so happy to see the sun!
Last nights dinner at Prime 7 couldn't of been any better and the company was just as good. It was so nice seeing all the LCTers together!
Julie wants to do all the token games so Marc, you would be proud of us! We are getting ready to go chip balls into the jacuzzi and to go play whamo, which I have no idea what that is smiles

Tonight is the Captains dinner, I will take lots of pictures of us all gussied up :)

Thanks Karen! It's so great to be getting some pix from the MOOSIES.

This photo was probably taken later in the evening in Stars!

2nd post.

Betty, how did you get that picture!!! So cute.

It is a beautiful morning in the sunny Inside Passage. Couldn't ask for better weather.

Many of us just met outside the Perfume Boutique where tables are set up ofr the Alaskan sale-off. All Alaskan items are 50% off. It was a frenzy!!

David, I was up at 6:30am and hit the treadmill before breakfast. Have to work off from last night. Those crab legs were wonderful.

Terry Breen in 30 minutes.

Wish you all were here.

Mr Kennedy
Crystal and I were the last LCTers to leave Prime 7 and both of us had early morning spa appointments. She probably slept longer than I did since I haven't unpacked - I slept with my luggage last night. Actually not that comfortable. I need to take of that situation before lunch!
To everyone else- this is a wonderful cruise and great group of LCTers aboard. So happy to be a MOOSE!

Ditto to all the above! Am typing this without my glasses so could be talling you anything.

The company is great, the ship is lovely and the onion rings absolutely superb! I'm still managing to get lost - Mariner is a bit different from the Voyager. As long as I can find my way to Compass Rose, I'm sure I'll be fine.

The mystery guests contacted me at the hotel and as I promised (if I guessed correctly), there was a lot of yelling and hugging! Great to see them both again.

I'm having enough fun for all of you, so sit back and enjoy our cruise!

Just enjoyed a Coffee Nelson at the new coffee corner, after lunch with Beth, Kim and Alice. Terry Breen was on her A game in her talk today--she really does bring things to life.

Boarding yesterday was a delight, seeing some old friends from last year's DC, meeting friends from LCT, and checking out the Mariner post-refurbish. Dinner was great at Prime 7--I highly recommend the oysters rockefeller--and the company even better.

They just keep piling on shipboard credits, so I'm becoming well acquainted with the spa.

Tomorrow we begin to hit the ports--am looking forward to Ketchikan.

Another great dinner tonight with Kim, Alice, Marilyn, Suzie and Julie. Lots of laughing and the dinner was fantastic yet again. Beef Wellington is the reason I love Captain's night so much and it didn't disappoint me tonight, one of the best I have had in a long time.
The soup was also to die for, cream of porchini (sp) mushroom soup with truffle foam and it was yummmm!

I have plenty of pictures to download but it looks like Betty K beat me to it! How she got our group dinner picture from tonight posted so fast, I'll never know!
Tomorrow is Ketchikan and we have an eating excursion, you think we could of found enough to eat here on the ship ;)

Beautiful day cruising the Inside Passage. It was even warm enough for breakfast on the back deck of La Veranda and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for lunch by the pool.

Alan and I skipped the Captain's reception for champagne in the Observation Lounge. It turned out to be a great decision considering the scenic ride the ship took through Grenville Channel. Whales, porpoise, a bald eagle and fjord in one fell swoop. Can't ask for more than that. The fresh grilled salmon dinner plus creme brulee desert capped off the night for me.

Between live tweeting, facebook and blogging, I'm finding it hard to squeeze in sea mail. Tomorrow is a sea plane ride in Misty Fjords.

Bedtime for me. More later.

Sounds like you all are having a great time! Glad to hear Terry Breen is on the Mariner--how long will she be staying on? I'm sure everyone getting on in Hong Kong would love to see her. Also, who's the captain, GM, cruise director, etc. Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Terry is on through Singapore I think (although I may have her destination confused with someone else's). Jamie is CD. Captain is someone new whose name I can't remember--an Italian gentleman. Haven't figured out yet who GM is (I missed most of the Captain's welcome last night due to a manicure).

It's foggy here in Ketchikan. We're docked right on front street, which has become a collection of the same kinds of shops you see in all cruise ship meccas. Going off in a bit to spot wildlife and, yes, eat.

Dinner last night was a lot of fun, with Beth, Randy, Lee, Michael and Betty. Then had a good time at the show--featuring lots of dancing--with Kim and Alice. The singers are particularly good in this group.

We are in port. Foggy but cool. You all know I love cool after Houston summer. On the hunt for Suzie so we can walk around. Taking care of family business this morning. Hate it when the real world interfers with "Heaven on a Regent Ship!"
Beth introduced me to the Casino last night. What fun! Off to look for a "sistah."

Our morning was a fantastic seaplane trip out to Prince of Wales island. We got out and stood on the pontoons and watched a big black bear eating on salmon after another. Beautiful misty morning for that sort of thing. We also saw two eagles. Our pilot was using a paddle to keep us in position, walking across a wire between the pontoons, and slipped off and fell in the drink. He was fine, but it was funny. We're off soon for the zip line tour!! woo hooo!!!! Betty and Marilyn are standing in front of me, I think to head out shopping soon. Just finished a Coffee Nelson and need to head up to the pool bar for a snack.

I know most of you have been to Alaska and there is absolutekly nothing exciting happening to me in Ketchikan - but I certainly am having a good time. This will be boring so no need to read on unless you are bored!
Never found Susie - I bet she would have reminded me to take a credit card. Haven't decided if no cc is good or bad news. 1st stop was to get watch battery in brand new Chico's costume watch. 14 jewlery stores later - "We don't sell batteries!" I finally find a watch repair shop. Repair guy on break and can't be disturbed. Asst didn't know anything about installing watch batteries. I'm beginning to wonder what country this Ketchikan place calls home. Finally Caribbean Diamond store has them and can even install. They prefer payment via cc, not cash - but he did decide to take my money since battery was already installed! As I walk out of the store what should be parked in front but the Ketchikan WalMart Free Shuttle. Who knew? By then I am strollng down the street on my way to the red light district trying to imagine all sorts of scenarios that could happen there. Nothing........boring. But did see millions of salmon trying to swim up or down stream. There were so many I don't know how they moved at all. Makes one question why salmon is so expensive.
Off to lunch and maybe another adventure off the ship - or maybe not. The tour people with real adventure stories should be back soon.
Tomorrow is river float/rafting. I'll try to do better with the seamail then.

Robert: I'm not too sure Suzie will agree about the photo, but I just love her hat! Reminds me of lobster headgear we wore on our first cruise together!

Marilyn and I spent four hours (just seemed longer) on a trip and I hate to sound ungrateful but it was mostly of fir trees and water. The destination was lovely but I think Michael had the right idea by taking the float plane. The ship sailed the minute we got on board but at least they waited for us!

It was a quaint town to wander around. Unfortunately my application for work in the red light district was declined. Not sure why!

The LCT group is great and well behaved. I doubt anyone is interested but just in case, I managed to down two Brandy Alexanders last night without one sneeze! Wow - what an achievement. Will try to repeat the performance tonight.

Hello! I'm much cuter than that picture! we'll take some more tonite, having a wonderful time in foggy Alaska. No excursions today for me, our cabin is outstanding, will post photo's when I get home. Marilyn & Lee had the excursion from Hell, she had 4 margarita's when she got back to the ship and still in the bar! Sign off for now, wish you were all here!! Karen & Julie adorable!

Suzie is gorgeous and that MOOSE hat can't hide that! Good thing I asked permission before I posted the picture :)

I am waiting for Kim and Alice to check in, they went ziplining and I am dying to hear how it went!

Julie and I went on an eating excursion. Halfway through the 12 courses, we decided we must be insane. We have been really pigging out onboard and to get off the ship and eat for 2 1/2 hours is just whacky!
