Thx Anne, I love Bracket Sunday, but first the ACC tournament this Thursday-next Sunday. The Heels are Regular Season Champs with their great win over Duke last night! There was a lot of hooping and hollering at my house last night..... and it was just me here enjoying the game! :banana: :banana: :app:

I'm stuck in the Big 12 & PAC 10 tournaments...we'll see if I have any strength left after that. Your De Paul ladies are doing well, Annie!

Congrats to the Tar Heels! And I'd be remiss not to mention the Jayhawks. We'll see how they do tomorrow in the Big 12 tourney. Wonder what they'll call it next year after 2 schools leave....

I'm all set for 4 days of basketball. The ACC tourney starting in 3 hours.... I'm ready!! With a huge storm heading our way, what a great way to spend the day. I am decked out in my Carolina blue.... even though we don't play until tomorrow.

I'm going to start calling them the Heart Attack Hawks. They shouldn't have won against Okie State and looked terrible in the first half yesterday against Colorado. We'll see how we look against Texas - lost to them earlier in the season.

Tar Heels also were lucky to win - Roy Williams did not look happy. But the important thing is they won! (He did smile about that) Enjoyed the UConn game as well.

Tragic loss by the Lafayette Leopards in the Patriot League championship. Not bad for a 6 seed to get to a position for an NCAA spot. If only they hadn't blown so many layups, and made foul shots and had a few fans in the hostile arena.

So now my better half has bragging rights (Maddy is a Bucknell alum) until the football season.

Sue, I am so into the ACC tournament right now I can't focus on any other league this weekend. We'll see what the brackets look like tomorrow. I'll watch some of the other games during the NCAA games.

We're #3 in the women's east regional bracket. Our first weekend is in State College, PA, where we will repeat the experience of being the 'home' team in the 'away' team's home court. Last time (san diego state university), the gym was full to overflowing with Aztec fans. Those State College fans are also avid fans - similar to the UConn fans in their home team in Storrs, CT.

If we succeed to the second weekend, what's next? We meet our old pals UConn - again, along with probable entries from Duke and Maryland. Where will we play? Philadelphia on the Temple Owls home court.

Thanks Anne for setting up the bracket for us. We set ours up and had our name as LCT. I just changed it to bettyk. Enjoying a "half second" or so, :) in the top half of the leader board. Will be short lived, I fear, with our Louisville pick to go to semi finales. Oh well. It's fun!

Morehead State beats Louisville! That's why it's called March Madness. I'm sure we're in for more, too!

There were a few upsets yesterday and crazy buzzer beaters. It was an exciting day for college b-ball.

I keep forgetting to say, I LOVE how they are splitting the games among 4 channels (CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV) so we get to see every game. And the fact that they are showing the scores (as well as the stations the games are on) across the top of the screen. BRAVO. It really annoyed me in previous years when it was only on CBS and they switched around from game to game.

I agree, Kristin, the multi-channels certainly makes it easy for us fans to watch the games of our choice.

We're in the Round of 32. Congrats to Arlene, who's taken a one point lead over a sizeable pack. Michele has the highest points possible so she's in it for the long haul

Once again .. Villanova falls in a close game. Jay Wright must be ready to pull every one of those gorgeous hairs out of his head.

A huge shout out for Gil's very own Temple Owls. DOUBLE OVERTIME against the dreaded SD State Aztecs - it would have busted my bracket to smithereens AND BEEN WORTH IT, Gil. Fantastic showing in the tournament. I hope the City of Brotherly Love properly shows their appreciation when the kids get home.

Sue, Pitt also never wants to play a team starting with "B" before the final round again. First #1 OUT and heading back to the land west of the Alleghenies. Dang, that was a close one.
