Just heard about the earthquake near Los Angeles. Hope all our LCTers are ok out there. Let us know your status.

Sounds like it was more out by Palm Springs. Glad it happened after we left the area - I always dreaded it! Our friends in La Jolla said they felt a pretty good jolt.

Was at the office when it hit (San Fernando Valley - Studio City) - No Big Deal - just a little rolling.

Don felt a wave motion (not strong at all) hit here at home in Santa Clarita (north LA County). I was driving on the freeway & didn't feel it. My daughter felt quite a strong up & down jolt in San Diego. (SD area has been having quite a few since the big one that hit on Easter near the border.)

I was leaving work and didn't feel it. Lots of people at work however, did. Alan was driving and didn't feel it, either.

Kristin, you haven't really experienced SOCAL until you've experienced one of our earthquakes. Better luck (?) next time ;)

Thanks for checking in with SOCALers, Beth.

We felt a long shaking at our office in Costa Mesa - not a big jolt, but it did roll on for awhile.

WOW hadn't heard about this till now. Glad everyone is ok and it was just a minor shake up. I remember many earthquakes in my lifetime.

We live in the OC too, didn't feel a thing.
