I have posted my TUSK album. Note, I began with more than 1250 pictures and tried to be ruthless in cutting that number down. I’ve ended up with 367 and put captions on most of them. I found it very difficult to omit some of the animal pictures, and I know that some of you wanted pictures of Birkenhead House and the Camps. For those of you who bore easily, I suggest setting the slideshow for 2-second viewing. I posted on this kodakgallery because I spent so much time uploading and editing, I was not sure what would happen on our “regular†site. This is also where my other albums appear. (Please let me know if I mislabeled any birds or if you know the names of birds I did not label.) The password is case sensitive - cruise is all capital letters. Off to see the photos now..

Eugene, your photos are outstanding. The shots of a toothy shark, wimpy penquin and roaring lion are amazing. And the sunset pics are good too. Thanks for captioning them, it sure helped. Your photos are really inspiring. I can hardly wait for Sept. 2008.

Made me relive the whole experience, great work Eugene. Can I go back NOW. I loved the pictures all in sequence it really told the story of the trip. The vase Eugene bought was absolutely gorgeous and he had it shipped and it arrived quickly and safe and sound. I carried mine home in my checked suitcase and it made it fine also.

Marcie,
It's a Panasonic FZ-20 with a 12x optical zoom. Has Leica lens and built-in stabilizer. Am very happy with it. I was just reading about the new FZ-50, and I concluded, I would go for an FZ-30, if I was in the market now. I do need to learn how to do night shots better. It's an auto-focus, though you have the option of doing manual focus, which I tried a few times without better results.
