I would also be livid if this happened to me - only 10 days prior to the cruise. We've sailed with Regent now 9 times and find that they have a great product but when something goes wrong they don't initially handle it well but after a bit of back and forth usually come up with a satisfactory solution.
We're on the Voyager right now and it is not full for this cruise. I find it apalling that they would overbook and not tell people after final payment. Before final payment, I can understand totally.
