Day 1 crossing the Atlantic

We're having a wonderful sunny day at sea. Wish I had brought more shorts to wear in this warm climate. The seas seem calmer - just pitching and rocking - great for sleeping (that is, for me it is)

Madeira is so beautiful. We were going to do the "Sledge" down the mountain through the streets but the light rain caused the streets to be very slick. Friends of ours did it prior to the rain and loved every second of it.

Had a fun dinner with David & Betty last night. What a delightful couple! Debbie's (Onamountaintop) brother boarded the ship yesterday. We're looking forward to meeting him tonight.
