I went to CVS yesterday to stock up on Alleve Sinus & Headache for some upcoming flights. I saw little yellow stickers on the shelves under every single OTC product with pseudoephedrine in it that said "Get it while it lasts." When I asked the pharmacy manager about this, he indicated that CVS would no longer be carrying any OTC products with pseudoephedrine due to the hassle of complying with new Federal regulations regarding products with pseudoephedrine.
Does anyone know if this is happening industry-wide or just at CVS? If these products go off the market, I will have a lot of problems during the winter, the height of allergy season, and while flying (congestion while flying always makes me sick).
Thanks in advance!
