It may just be CVS. I know that the rules are that you are supposed to show ID to a pharmacist to get pseudoephedrine and then only a limited supply. But, that being said at my local shopping center if I go into Eckerd's it is behind the counter and if I go to Harris Teeter (the grocery store) which has no pharmacist then it is out on the shelves. I would suggest just trying another store or chain. I have not heard that it is being removed from the market entirely. Good luck, Debbie
