Thank you, everyone! Your kind words are definitely a source of strength for us right now. Len's Mom is out of surgery. The tumor had broken through the colon wall so we know we are dealing with at least stage 2 cancer or beyond. The doctor won't have the pathology back until Wednesday so we'll know in a few days how bad it is.
She definitely needs to have chemo treatments and I guess that will start once we know exactly what stage she's at.
I'll keep you posted. It's one day at a time now.
