Ever since we returned from Africa, Leonard's mom has been having some health issues. We just heard the diagnosis: colon cancer.
She is scheduled to have the section of her intestine with the tumor removed on Monday. The doctor will then be able to access what stage the cancer is at and what course of action must be taken next.
Our family would appreciate it if you could keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I'll let you know what happens after the surgery on Monday.
