Hi guys. My parents are driving me down to Ft. Lauderdale with all my steamer trunks for my around the world adventure on the VOYAGER. Can I get them onboard to visit me during embarkation? I would love for them to see where their son is going to spend 4 months at sea.? Do i just call Radisson? Thanks for any advice

Paul, I'm planning to do similar in Los Angeles. I'm not exactly sure about Radisson's policy. I can only hope that you have a TA that is !/2 as WONDERFUL as mine! Contact your TA.

Paul, your TA can arrange this. You need to file a form with guests names and passport numbers or drivers license numbers. The form needs to be filed at least 30 days in advance. When you get confirmation, send a copy to your guests and keep a copy for yourself. Of course, since they are driving you to the pier, you really don't need both copies.
I don't think they will charge you for lunch for your guests. They did charge us but then they had a 100 guests in San Diego. We also arranged for cheese and cracker trays and shrimp cocktails in the cabin before lunch.
It was great showing off the Voyager. Since then, we have gotten my father to cruise once on the Mariner and he is now booked on the Voyager; primarily from getting a chance to enjoy the ship while in port.

Paul, I think they are going to want to stow away with you once they get on! Just be sure and arrange well in advance, and like Marc said, it will not be a problem.

Paul - RSSC is really great about visitors. We just had our daughter and son in law onboard for the day in Boston. I just called RSSC and they faxed me the forms - your TA can also get the forms for you - as Marc said they need to be completely filled out and returned at least 30 days before the date, they will hold their ID at the security checkpoint and issue them a visitors pass which has to be turned in as they depart. We were charged $15 per person for lunch, and guest relations told me that if they didn't eat lunch to just let them know and they'd remove the charge - of course they ate lunch. Did it also with my Father May 2003 when we were on Mariner, again, it was easy and RSSC was very good about it.

Paul: We had visitors in San Diego on the Mariner on our Panama trip. Ngaire sent us the forms to fill out as everyone else has said 30 days prior and our guests had to leave their ID at the security check. We weren't charged for their lunch we were told we would be but it didn't show up on our bill. They had about 100-150 visitors that day as alot of travel agent came on to see the ship. Our friends are hoping to sail on the Mariner now that they have seen it. Just ask your T/A to get you the forms. Your folks will love the ship! Penny
