I thought Marc and Arlene were pretty definite (OK, they're waiting for MUSH to do the on-board booking) but otherwise, pretty definite. :)

We are in 730.

OKAY, so I'm a month behind the times!!

We're in cabin 751, getting on in Seward with Peggy and Jerry. We're taking the earlier leg because we want to watch Jerry (a confirmed fridge-o-phobic!) on that northern crossing!

Actually, we just had so much fun with Jerry and Peggy on ROAR that we were easily talked into this trip too!!

Thanks, Masaki!

You and Amanda are right at the top of our list to meet. I feel like I already know you. And by then you'll be parents of a 'Terrible Two' with lots of great stories to tell!

It seems like such a long way off, but it's only 3 1/2 months until the WC, and then it will only be another 4 months after that is over before we board this one. I LIKE this life!!

Same here, Betty! After all the chat we've exchanged on this board about your prior WC, we feel like we know you as well. it'll be a great time!

Oh come on!! This group keeps getting better and better - meaning of course, the temptation is getting worse and worse. It's PANDA vs. LAMB & GREECE. Grrrr... <img border="0" alt="[bang]" title="" src="graemlins/banghead.gif" />

We are booked in 911 for PANDA and the next segment ending in Bangkok. (I wanted to add my husband’s name and our cabin number to the list.) We also just booked the second half of TAP which I noted in that thread.

Merril and Alan (officially “Harold”)

This will be a wonderful cruise!!!! Just think, the more people we get the more names Ngaire will draw for a potential free 2008 World Cruise!!! :lct:

All you have to do is nix that Greece thing and come with us! I know you and Tony HATE to have to go 7 days rather than 14. Perhaps your PV groups would like this?

Some of them less adventuresome than others - they have onboard bookings ... I am no longer a TA - I introduced them to Regent now it is up to them - J

Andrea, I bet they can make a good Souvlaki on the Mariner. In addition, we can probably arrange a bottle of Retsina.

Instead of Greek Isles where you have to get back on board each night, we will get to overnight in Beijing (ship will put us up at hotel). And then we are docked for two nights in Shanghai; shopping heaven according to Marcie and Joanna. In fact, I think we should talk Joanna and Marcie into coming along to lead the guided shopping tour.

This looks like it is going to be a Grand Adventure!!!!

Andrea, on MUSH, I put my sister with part of the "serious group" on Trivia one day. Next day she said, "can't we hide and just pretend we're not competing?" That's what we did each day. It was fun for us. And we were never embarrassed with our "unofficial" scores, although we never won!

Well Marcie and I chatted about Panda today just saying oh it looks sooo neat - docking in HK harbor one of the highlights of any cruise we have taken and oh the lights at night - Shanghai, I told Andrea, spend 100 euros and you need another suitcase to haul the goodies home -

Under discussion - my land TA (Marcie) is busy tonight and Andrea in deep thought - oh and I went to little hole in the wall (HK) had knock off Judith Lieber purses - I was too cheap to splurge but if I went back a "Judith" in my future -

Marc,

Retsina? All we need is bottle of pine resin mixed with some watered down nail polish remover. Umm, tasty... :p

I see pros and cons between GREECE and PANDA. We will be in Shanghi this winter, BOTOH, never been to Bejing before. Weather will be warmer on GREECE. Love the 14 day on PANDA....but the price is a lot higher than GREECE and we've never been to Istanbul (free 2 nights in Istanbul through B&K). The flights for PANDA are probably a nightmare (hate long flights!) Don't know much about LAMB, can't find a roll call. Where is it hiding? Like the fact that LAMB ends up in Los Angeles!

Could spend my birthday in Dalian on PANDA...Oh such decisions!

Marcie, we chose the name for LAMB but a roll call was never posted, because I believe the only LCTers signed up other than me are Ray and Penny.

Just checked flights from LAX to Osaka...on JAL you could change planes in Honolulu.

Anything that breaks up long flights is good! So Masaki & Amanda are putting everyone up for the night in Honolulu? :D
Is JAL partners with AA (One World alliance)?

Oh, I so want to do this!

AA flies direct to Osaka, the fare isn't too bad, but the 40% single supplement is a killer. Plus three weeks of vacation time.

Still, very tempting!

Suzanne, I am surprised to hear you wouldn't try the Retsina? Personally, I'll drink anything that burns. Marc, when the Regent conversion is finally complete I hear they may start awarding tokens the same way you get Mardi Gras Beads! By the way Marcie, the weather in China and Japan could be quite warm On PANDA. I am happy about that - living in FL, as my summer wardrobe is considerably less limited than the choices I had for MUSH.

My apologies Pam...I didn't know. You should start the roll call!

Along with the wonderful company, the awesome itinerary and the fact that scaling the Great Wall is incentive to get back to the gym, the dancing panda clinched it. I'm in 758.

Mitch,
The memories of my first (and only) experience with Retsina when I was 20 were quite pleasant. Moonlight on the Plaka in Athens, the dancing the drinking  right down the hall! What cruise are you sacrificing?

Cruises...GREECE and LAMB, although I haven't cancelled LAMB because:

1. If I win the lottery I could do both. I would just have to start playing.
2. I can switch the booking to whatever entices me for 2008.

I actually enjoy Retsina; of course, I drink it only once in a blue moon.

Andrea, welcome neighbor.

How many of us are now on both FJORDS and PANDA next year? Olivia, will you make Platinum on one of the two?
